Regarding Hobby

It is a totally different thing when we compare something that we really love to do and something that we supposed to do but not really liking it. Every moment when we do things halfheartedly seems to be 'work'. There is no enjoyment.

Forced by the state of very severe boredom (and when I say I am bored, that does not mean I don't have responsibilities to be carried out ; refer to the paragraph above), I shoot my friend's 'little nursery'. And that 'little nursery' is a hobby too.

Is it fair if I say that life is too short for us to take it too serious?

'Let death be my reminder". I wrote that for 'kata-kata hikmat' under my photo in my senior yearbook. Poyo sebab tengah gila dengar Cromok banyak sangat. But that phrase, in my humble opinion is so relevant now.

By the way, I miss shooting potrait. [sigh].

Freedom and Boredom Usually Come Together

Bored. You will only experience boredom when you do nothing. Procrastination and time wasting are the words of the day. You only live once, idiot. *And by "you", I mean me.

I am shocked with the news of a leader of a country murdered today. At a glance, the leader seems to be a tyrant, in which he brought with him some evil, selfish and oppressive doctrine. On the other hand, the dismissal of him from his throne, by the mean of violence seems to be exactly the same act that the leader himself practiced. Additionally, without the leader now, neo-colonization is on it's way to victory. Adhering to that facts, the verdict for the questions of who is right and who is wrong, I am in no capacity to speak and I don't know the answer.

You have your own opinion? Please keep it to yourself.

On a side note, this set of images were taken during bored, solely with 50mm. I plan to use only 50mm on all occasion for a while now. Let us see how long I can maintain this. :)

Reminiscence Part II

This is the second set of images. All images are from my very own collection, and arranged here with no particular order regarding when the photos were taken. Some images have been published either in my Flickr (rarely log-in nowadays), my old vixidem.net (not available anymore), or my Tumblr. However, due to several reasons, I decided to re-post the images here.

This is a conclusion, and reminiscence.

Reminiscence

As we look back, and walk down the path that we have created throughout time, we might realized that there are too little achievements, and yet the journey ahead is too long too endure. While we claim that we have stood the test of time, deep down in our heart, we deny it repetitiously. And when we perused the life history written by ourselves, we found too many flaws.

But in the end, our past is merely a reminder and lesson for today and beyond.
